The annual University Information Day (Info Day) is a pivotal moment for academic institutions to showcase their brand strength. We are proud to have been commissioned by the HKU Faculty of Education to provide a seamless, one-stop solution for University Event Branding—from visual identity and printing to on-site installation—for this year’s recruitment exhibition.
This year, our design was centered on the theme of “Tech-Driven Education & Professional Wisdom.” We took a bold approach to the overall Key Visual (KV).
Color & Lineage: Using deep navy blue as the primary tone to convey professionalism, we incorporated minimalist yet bold linework to symbolize the synergy between technology and the future of education.
Visual Optimization: Considering the heavy foot traffic on Info Day, we enhanced the design contrast, ensuring the Faculty’s brand was instantly recognizable even from a significant distance.
Spanning both indoor and semi-outdoor environments, we tailored specific strategies for each space through meticulous Event Wayfinding Design.
Outdoor Landmark: In the high-traffic rest park area, we installed a 3m x 1.2m L-shaped backdrop. Featuring LED-illuminated faculty signage, it remained highly visible under natural daylight, successfully capturing the attention of students and parents.
Visual Experience: To break the monotony of 2D graphics, we integrated two 1.3m tall installations, creating interactive focal points and perfect “photo-op” spots.
Precision Navigation: To navigate the complex campus layout, we deployed a comprehensive navigation system, including indoor/outdoor hanging banners, bus stop advertisements, and floor stands to ensure a smooth visitor flow.
The indoor exhibition featured 8 academic departments. Our challenge in Booth Production Hong Kong was to maintain visual unity with individual identity.
Color-Coding Strategy: Each department was assigned a unique color code, applied to their mini-backdrops and 1.5m mini booths, allowing students to categorize and find information quickly.
Team Branding: We also designed custom event T-shirts for the staff, enhancing team cohesion and making them easily identifiable to visitors.
Beyond the physical space, we managed the editorial design and layout of the Undergraduate Prospectus. From course highlights and international rankings to alumni success stories, we translated complex data into aesthetically pleasing and easy-to-read brochures, extending the brand experience into the hands of prospective students.
